It's a.....

BOY!!!

How soon is too soon to give away our 4 boxes of baby girl clothes? Also, when should I start painting the pink girls' room a boy-friendly color? When can I break out the vintage cowboy fabric I bought at the antique store with the hope of sewing a blanket for a baby boy some day? I am so thrilled to have another boy! I love my girls, of course, but I was ready for a little dude again. It will remind me of the good old days when Holden was a baby and life made sense (except for at night time, when he didn't sleep). But anyway. I'm super happy, Holden is on cloud nine, and Mike is thrilled. The girls, well, they still have each other!

P.S. Because I have finally learned my lesson, there will be no name polls on my blog this time.

  1. Celebrate now! Pregnancy sucks so do whatever you can to enjoy! Buy blue things. You probably need to get rid of Holden's hand me downs and start over, too. Sam's pants all look extremely wide-legged and light blue when Ben wears them now. Just save the scout shirts because they never change--except to increase in price. But I'm getting ahead of myself.Congratulations!

  3. Yay yay yay! I am so happy for you! Congratulations! Hooray for boys! (Says the mother of 3 boys.) This is great news.

I have a friend who has two girls named Hazel and Ruby, but her boy's name is Solomon and they call him Saul. I guess that won't work as a name idea to poach from likeminded namers.

    Excited!

  7. We are excited for you also. (Altho another girl would have been fine.) Ahhhh, why not a name pole? I love the names you come up with, after I get use to them. Hope you get over the icks and feel great again.
