So I was dreading the first day back into teaching after such a luxurious break. But, as it turns out, everything was cool. I think having new clothes to wear softens the blow a little bit. What's that? You want to know what I wore? Well, okay, I will tell you:
Light pink boucle-ish skirt with pink ribbon belt.
Bone colored pantyhose and extremely painful taupe pointy shoes with kitten heel.
Mauve (looked shockingly good with the light pink skirt, oddly enough) boat neck sweater.
Pearl earrings (they bring light to the face).
New Maybelline "forever metallics" lip pencil in "ginger sheen."
New Maybelline eye liner and shadow in "chill the champagne" (which I read as a command, like "Jeeves, chill the champagne, will you?")
Maybelline XXL mascara (shockingly enhances eyelashes).
I was a vision in pinks and metallics. And I think I said good stuff to the students.
glad I have seen most of these purchases from your trip here and glad you found shirt to go with skirt.
ReplyDeleteam taking make-up tip notes.
totally agree on the pearl earrings/light thing.
you are one hot teacher.
Oh how cares what you said to the students. They won’t remember anyway… all they will remember are those bone colored legs and your long dewy lashes.
ReplyDeleteBTW... Marcy totally got mad at my at my blog, can you believe her? And what she eats gives me the willies! Eek.
ReplyDeleteIn the words of David Lee Roth, I'm hot for teacher.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. That's sort of gross.
love love love love. More blogs about clothes... I am on a budget now and need to live vicariously through other people's purchases...
